Selectapension appoints Paul Yates as development director

Technology provider Selectapension has appointed Paul Yates to the newly created role of development director.

Yates will be tasked with growing the technology firm and developing its strategy.

He left his role as products and strategy director at Avelo, where he had been for almost five years, in September.

Prior to this he spent four years as strategy director at Vertex Financial Services and, before that, he spent three years as director of sales technology at Sesame Services.

Selectapension managing director Andy McCabe says: “Paul’s experience will enhance our service to the adviser market, making our tools vital to the adviser working environment.”

Yates says: “Selectapension is a natural opportunity for me. It is a fast growing business, which following the budget, has tremendous expansion prospects.

“I want to align myself with a business that is both innovative and can respond to the changing needs of advisers. It is the right business, with the right products and skills, in the right space.”
