Sedgwick stakeholder service for law firms

Sedgwick Independent Financial Consultants has been chosen to provide a stakeholder service to nearly 10,000 members of the Law Society.

The company will be holding educational seminars around the country to help legal practices fulfil their stakeholder obligations to employees before the Government&#39s deadline of October 8.

Sedgwick will offer two levels of service. The basic service is for firms wanting to satisfy only the minimum requirements of stakeholder legislation. The comprehensive service is for firms wanting to pay contributions into a stakeholder scheme on behalf of employees.

Sedgwick managing director John Dick says: “We have invested substantially in technology to address the communication and administrative issues which face all employers, whatever their size. Our service enables legal practices of any size to introduce a cost-effective and straightforward stakeholder solution for employees which minimises the time spent on admin and provides access to independent financial advice.”
