Dublin-based financial services company International Finance Group is
believed to be searching for a new chief executive for its UK IFA arm, IFG
Life and Pensions.
Industry experts believe a recruitment ad for an unnamed personal
financial services group looking for a chief executive for its UK IFA
subsidiary relates to IFG.
The ad states the IFA business has annual fee and commission income of
£25m and operating profits of £8m. It offers a salary of
£150,000 plus bonus and equity participation.
At the announcement of IFG's annual results in April group chief executive
Richard Hayes said he aims to grow a nationwide chain of IFAs in Britain
IFG has made several recent acquisitions in the UK to expand its IFA
business including Berkeley Jacobs retirement advisers for around £12m
last September and the Isa Shop for around £12m in December.
