Scottish Widows revamps protection products

Scottish Widows is revamping its protection products range.


It is offering a new stand-alone critical illness product which can be sold in its own right or as a bolt-on for level, convertible and mortgage protection term assurance.


Benefits offered include permanent disability cover, cover for keyhole surgery and children&#39s benefit up to £15,000. Waiver of premium is also available.


Improvements have also been made to the House Savings Plan following research among IFAs. It now includes a Twin Plan options. Joint life plans now allow waivers on both lives.
