Scottish Mutual is issuing a comprehensive marketing pack to more than 5,000 IFAs to help them prepare for stakeholder.
The Time for Action pack promotes Scottish Mutual's pre-stakeholder Universal pension contract and contains the information IFAs need to understand the Government's current stakeholder proposals.
The pack advises IFAs on setting up and running stakeholder schemes and also features a worksitemarketing section for the IFA to promote products to employees in their place of work in a cost-effective way.
The pack contains two CD-Roms. The first is for IFAs to use with employers detailing stakeholder and the future of pensions.
The second is a Scottish Mutual product-specific presentation aimed at employees. It also has reason-why letters and other sales aids for the IFA. The pack is completed by a client checklist pad that identifies any need for further action.
The pack was developed in consultation with IFAs at both design and concept level to make sure it meets their needs.
Scottish Mutual public relations manager Christine McAllister says: “We produced the pack because our research with IFAs showed that there was a need to clearly set out the issues and opportunit-ies for IFAs under stakeholder pensions.”
