ScotLife has transfer goal

Scottish Life is off ering a business sol utions pack to help IFAs make the most of the opportunities in the pension trans fer market.

The company estimates the pension transfer market is worth £1.9bn and the Transfer to the Winning Team pack is designed to give IFAs guidance on targeting the market.

The pack inc ludes prospecting letters to help IFAs contact existing and new clients and sales aids to show the benefits of pension transfers. Also inc luded are case stu dies from outdated pension plans, retirement annuities, occupational schemes and compliance aids.

ScotLife is also running workshops for advisers on pension transfers.

Head of communications Alasdair Buchanan says: “The market for pension transfers is huge and the material we have produced aims to help IFAs make the most of the opportunities out there.

“On a topical note,
the new rules for pensions and divorce will create further opportunities for IFAs to provide advice on pension transfers. With a little help from pack, IFAs should be able to increase their income while providing significant added value to clients.”
