Scotlife adds functionality to online pension service

Scottish Life has enhanced its online group pension service with the aim of allowing intermediaries to conduct more of their business electronically.

Changes to the bulk data request functionality means IFAs can obtain information such as projection figures, commission details, payment summaries and unit transactions online.

IFAs can access detailed reports for any combination of information for any number of members of a selected group pension scheme.

Other recent changes to Scottish Life’s Retirement Solutions range include a noticeboard enabling employers, trustees and advisers to be kept informed of key events and changes to member policies and schemes.

Group pensions marketing manager Mark Polson believes that these updates will result in time savings for advisers and improve the overall data and service quality.

Polson says: “For us to continue to grow our market share, it is vital that we are continually looking to develop and improve our proposition.”
