ScotEq offers client-specific downloads

Scottish Equitable is helping IFAs to create client-specific sales aids

for pensions.

The information from key features documents can be used to provide bespoke

colour sales aids based on a client&#39s individual circumstances and

requirements.

The sales aids are available through ScotEq&#39s IFA intranet and are

designed to help IFAs reinforce the key points about personal pensions with

client-specific illustrations.

There are four sales aids available through the intranet site. These

include Holiday Of A Lifetime, which estimates the income a client will

receive in their retirement based on their current contributions and their

projected salary at retirement age.

A Why Wait analysis highlights the cost of delaying making pension

contributions based on the estimated value of the pension the client will

receive at retirement.

There is also a What Will Your Pensions Buy? illustration which

demonstrates the effect of inflation on a client&#39s pension pot and how this

can be counteracted by automatic pension increases.

The final sales aid, Protecting Your Future, demonstrates how a break in

contri-butions could affect a client&#39s pension in retirement.

Marketing director Ken Hogg says: “We are the first provider to offer this

type of personalised sales aid and I believe that IFAs will find it

particularly helpful during the personal pension sales process.”
