ScotAm goes outdoors for brand promotion Name change for Govett amid overhaul of brand

Scottish Amicable is starting a corporate brand ad campaign using outdoor advertising for the first time in five years.

The campaign is an expansion of the company&#39s power drive. It will feature on 136 billboards, primarily in the South- east. The billboards aim to increase consumer and trade awareness of the ScotAm brand and values. The ads also promote the benefits of seeking financial advice.

The campaign is designed to give ScotAm a bright new look and is themed around the slogan “A Secure Tomorrow” for consumers using ScotAm products for a financial solution that brings “Power for the Future”.

The campaign will also run in the national press during November and a trade campaign will run simultaneously.

Head of marketing Tim Shields says: “Consumer brand consciousness is reshaping the way we do business and this is reflected in the latest phase of our campaign.”

Ramparts are breached

So, the great polarisation debate takes another, but perhaps inevitable, twist. The decision on the future of polarisation is to be deferred until next year – except, of course, that Cat-standard Isas and stakeholder pensions are to be “depol arised” sooner.
