ScotAm backing for Baa-baas tour

Scottish Amicable is again sponsoring the traditional end-of-season three-match spring rugby tour of the UK by the Barbarians.

The Barbarians will be playing Wales, Scotland and the winners of the English Premiership division in May.

The line-up for the Barbarians includes Jeremy Guscott of England, Jason Little of Australia, Thomas Castaignede of France, Agustin Pichot of Argentina and Gary Teichmann of South Africa. More players will be announced in the coming months.

Scottish Amicable has been sponsoring the Barbarians since 1990. It supports the development of youth rugby by donating £300 for every try scored by the Barbarians

Head of marketing and brand Tim Shields says: “ScotAm is delighted to bring the Barbarians back for some world-class rugby in the ScotAm tour. I am sure there will be more classic moments ahead as the Baa baas plan to bring together yet another fantastic squad.”
