Scot Prov Turner-Holmes leaves after management reshuffle

Scottish Provident marketing director Alison Turner-Holmes is leaving the firm weeks after its management merger with Bright Grey.

Money Marketing reported earlier this month that Royal London is merging the management teams of its protection businesses, Bright Grey and Scot Prov, and introducing a five-strong management team to oversee both brands.

As part of the reshuffle Bright Grey product director Roger Edwards has been named propositions director of the management team, while Turner-Holmes has decided to leave the firm.

Edwards new remit will include product pricing and development.

A Royal London spokesman says: “The role that Alison currently deals with is marketing director so it is not all the areas that is being covered by Roger. There was a possibility for Alison to continue as marketing director for Scottish Provident but in fact she has decided to leave Royal London Group in July.”

Edwards will now sit above the Scot Prov marketing, pricing and product development teams and there will be senior staff reporting through to Edwards. Bright Grey will have a separate senior team also reporting to Edwards.

The spokesman says it is now up to Edwards to find a replacement for Turner-Holmes, which the spokesman says could be an internal or external appointment.
