Scot Prov launches claims guide

Scottish Provident has produced a series of guides to making claims for policyholders and financial advisers.

The four tailored guides explain the claims process and what happens at each stage.

They also include the circumstances in which claims require additional or special consideration and information about the Lifeline service which offers free independent advice to policyholders and financial advisers.

The four titles available are Life Assurance, Critical and Terminal Illness, Total and Permanent Disability and Income Protection / Premium Payment Benefit (waiver).

Head of life and health insurance Sue Wilkinson says: Clearly, people are already going through a difficult time when it comes to making a claim. Our new guides clearly set out our claims process and anticipate questions our policyholders might have.
