Scot Life creates worksite marketing role

Clare Thomson has joined Scottish Life to the new role of workplace marketing manager within the corporate business team.

She will report to head of corporate business Mark Polson, working closely with IFAs to create scheme-specific communication strategies to help advisers and employers communicate pension benefits more effectively to staff.

Thomson will also assume overall responsibility for the ongoing promotion of works4you, Scottish Life’s employee benefits administration system.

She has worked for Scottish Life for over five years and has extensive promotional marketing experience in corporate pensions and was closely involved in the launch of works4you.

Polson says: “Clare has been a key member of the corporate business team for some time and I am delighted to appoint her to the position of workplace marketing manager.

“This new role is a reflection of the importance Scottish Life places on ensuring that our range of standard and bespoke pension communications is first-rate and enhances the experience of everyone involved, from the intermediary to the member.”
