Schroders sets out to raise profile

Schroders is running an advertising campaign to promote the strength and success of its global research capabilities and investment team.

The ads use specific examples of where investment decisions have paid off, such as a sportswear company holding in its UK Mid 250 fund that has made the fund a top performer.

The ads have been designed to raise the profile of Schroders at a time when equity markets are still volatile. To demonstrate its strong performance, the ads point to the ratings its funds have achieved from Standard & Poor&#39s.

The ads focus on the intermediary market and will be running in the trade press.

Head of retail marketing Helen Davidson says: “This is part of our continuing programme to consolidate our brand position in the market and, most importantly, speak directly to the key intermediary marketplace. It shows we can really substantiate our position as a strong brand with many dimensions to offer.”
