Schroders marketing head to lead new team in management reshuffle

Schroders head of UK marketing James Rainbow is to lead a new team serving financial institutions and strategic accounts in the UK following the acquisition of Cazenove.

The team will look to expand the group’s relationships with national IFA firms, banks, insurance companies, platforms and wraps.

Rainbow will report into Robin Stoakley, managing director of UK Intermediary at Schroders and will continue in his UK marketing role until September.

The team will work alongside the firm’s UK discretionary sales team, which is managed by Phil Middleton, and the UK Advisory sales team, managed by Steve Jackson.

Schroders managing director of UK Intermediary Robin Stoakley says: “Following our acquisition of Cazenove Capital in July this year we have re-organised and strengthened our business development offering to the market.

“The establishment of the UK Financial Institutions and Strategic Accounts team reflects the larger following we now have in the UK intermediary space and shows our continued commitment to build and further develop these important partnerships.”
