Schroders has introduced a Brazilian equity fund to fit into its international offshore selection fund range.
The Schroder ISF Brazilian equity fund will be domiciled in Luxemburg and managed from Brazil by head of Brazilian equities Carlos Scretas, who is based in Sao Paulo.
The fund, which launched this week, is invested in around 40 stocks and is benchmarked against the MSCI Brazil 10/40 index.
Initial charge is up to 5 per cent for the retail A share class. Annual charge is 1.5 per cent and minimum investment is £1,000. Schroders has had a team in Brazil for 17 years running onshore funds for the Brazilian market.
Concept Financial Planning managing director Paul Richardson says: “More single-market funds will become available as more investors know exactly where they want their money to be.”
