Schroders joined by Sutton

Julian Sutton has joined Schroders&#39 multi-manager team as a senior fund manager from Credit Suisse Asset Management.

His appointment comes just one month after the launch of Schroders&#39 multi-manager funds and brings the multi-manager team to six.

Sutton will be responsible for analysing and monitoring investment funds, including Schroders&#39 S&P strategic balanced and S&P high alpha portfolios. He will report to head of multi-manager Andrew Yeadon.

Schroders has also taken on Winterthur Life&#39s Lee Freeman-Shor as investment development manager of multi-manager funds.

Retail business managing director Robin Stoakley says: “Their appointments signal our commitment to continually improve and develop our multi-manager offering in the UK.

“Freeman-Shor was previously a member of the Wintherthur&#39s investment panel responsible for qualitative analysis and monitoring of its nine fund of funds. He joins in a newly created position that will oversee the development of the multi-manager range.”
