Schroders introduces stylish new campaign

Schroders has kicked off a £1.4m marketing campaign for its style funds with a fashion show from designer Salvatore Ferragamo, plus a range of IFA-focused activities.

Style investments aim to pick securities with similar characteristics, regardless of sector or geography.

The campaign is centred on the line: “The most beautiful investment in the world” and draws on images of style associated with haute couture. Ads featuring models wearing outfits designed by Salavatore Ferragamo will be appearing from now until the end of the year in trade publications and personal finance sections of the national press.

Schroders is taking its style funds on the road at the end of November, with a series of roadshows across the country aiming to reach 1,500 IFAs.

Rating agency Morning Star will be accompanyingthe Schroders team to help explain the benefits of style investing.

A website dedicated to Schroders&#39 new style collection has also been specially developed.

Schroders is hoping its campaign will raise the overall awareness of the concept of style investing, rather than marketing specific products.

Marketing director Robert Higginbotham says: “This is a concept launch rather than a product launch.

“We wanted a striking image to make us stand outin the eyes of IFAs.”
