Schroder picks duo to develop broker business

Schroder has appointed NPI head of customer value marketing Stephen

Ingledew as head of wholesale marketing.

It has also recruited Prudential national accounts manager Tristan

Mawdsley as head of networks and national accounts.

Both roles are newly created. Schroder says they show its determination to

continue the development of its retail sales through IFAs.

Ingledew, 37, will be responsible for marketing Schroder funds to a range

of intermediaries, including life offices and IFAs, and will take on a

pivotal role within the UK retail marketing scheme led by retail marketing

director Robert Higginbotham.

Mawdsley, 34, was Prudential national accounts manager for networks and

will be responsible for building a team to develop business from national

intermediaries, networks and regional IFAs as well as helping develop

Schroder&#39s telephone sales initiatives.

Client services director Robin Stoakley says: “Both these appointments in

specially created roles are evidence of our determination to develop our

retail sales and marketing effort through professional IFAs and life
