Schroder global equity income receives A rating

Schroder’s new global equity income fund has been awarded an A rating from Standard & Poor’s.

The fund was launched on May 18 and is managed by Sonja Schemmann.
It consists of a concentrated portfolio of high yielding global equities with the aim of achieving longer term returns at lower volatility compared to the broader market.

It is targeting a yield 2 per cent above the MSCI All Countries World index.

Schroder UK retail business managing director Robin Stoakley says:”Standard and Poor’s has been quick to recognise Sonja’s excellent track record in managing global equity income portfolios. The response from intermediaries to the new Schroder global equity income Fund during the offer period has been very positive.”
