Scarborough launches new bond issue

Scarborough Building Society has closed its Bonus Bond Issue Fifteen and is now offering Bonus Bond Issue Sixteen until July 31, 2001.

The bond pays 5.85 per cent for the first six months and then reverts to the underlying rate of 4.4 per cent if interest is paid annually.

Access is penalty-free on 60 days notice or instant with loss of 60 days interest.
