National IFA Save & Invest is warning investors looking for growth not to overlook income funds.

It says income funds have produced good growth over the past 12 to 18 months but investors ignore them because their name implies they are only suitable for income.

Save & Invest believes a combination of income and growth funds should be considered and that opportunities exist to review portfolios.
