RWC to launch American long/short fund

Mike Corcell, former manager of the Threadneedle American Crescendo fund, has joined RWC Partners to launch an American long/short equity fund.

In a statement issued today, RWC Partners says the new fund complements its existing range of funds managed by Ajay Gambhir, John Innes, Miles Geldard and Carmel Peters.

RWC Partners expects the new fund to be launched in the third quarter of this year. Until then, Corcell will recruit a full team to work with him from launch.
