Rutland makes the running

This year, Friends Provident and Isis Asset Management are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first retail ethical investment funds in the UK – the Stewardship funds – by joining forces with Money Marketing to offer IFAs the opportunity to win a fantastic holiday to Morocco plus many other prizes.

The results for August are now in. Congratulations to Peter Anderson, the winner of this month&#39s hamper of organic produce. Peter&#39s fund, Rutland, increased by 9.43 per cent during the month and has increased by 8.96 per cent since the start of the competition. The top 10 league table is below. If your fund is not on the leader board, go to www.friendsprovident.com/fantasyfund for a full list of entries and their positions.

Each month a hamper of organic produce supplied by Waitrose will be given away and the overall winner, the person whose fund is worth the most on October 29, will receive a holiday for two to the desert and gorges of Morocco and £500 for the charity of their choice. Two runners-up will win a digital camera, a hamper of organic produce and £250 for a charity of their choice.

The next monthly winner will be announced in Money Marketing. In the meantime, keep up to date with the progress of your fund and those of your colleagues and rivals at www.friendsprovident.com/fantasyfund, where performance figures will be updated every fortnight and winners will also be announced.

Guide: how to… certify your pension scheme

Certification is highly complex and surrounded by a minefield of information and auto-enrolment jargon, which can make it very difficult to understand. However, for many employers it is a necessary process that must be executed successfully.
