RSM Tenon has launched a restricted online advice portal and telephone advice service for clients.
Link2wealth uses the Cofunds platform and aims to offer a low-cost alternative to face-to-face advice.
RSM says the service will offer lower transaction fees and lower risk products in comparison to its full advice service.
Clients can get advice online or over the phone and can buy and trade investments on the Cofunds platform or look at valuations of existing investments.
RSM is yet to reveal the charging structure of the new proposition.
There are currently four advisers working on Link2wealth and a further nine administration staff. RSM Tenon is looking to hire another two advisers for the proposition this year.
Clients with more complicated needs will be referred to an RSM Tenon IFA for face-to-face advice.
RSM Tenon head of wealth management John Porteous says: “We are excited about launching this service and think our online offering backed by a specialist team will prove to be a valuable resource for clients.”
Pilot Financial Planning director Ian Thomas says: “Having a proposition in place which allows clients to transact at a lower cost with the option of advice if they need it is a good idea.”
