Royal & Sun Alliance urges IFAs to act before NIC shake-up

Royal &Sun Alliance is urging IFAs to target corporate clients before a radical shake-up of Employers&#39 National Insurance Contributions in April.


The life office says that the new single rate for employees earning over £23,934 will force an increase in the employer&#39s NIC costs.


It has compiled a spreadsheet to help IFAs compare the changes as they affect clients.


IFA pensions marketing manager Mark Birks says: &#34We wanted to demonstrate how the different mix of salaries in each workforce will have significantly different outcomes for each company.&#34
