Royal London hires portfolio risk manager

Royal London Asset Management has appointed Carola Lawton-Browne to its investment team as portfolio risk manager.

Carola joins from Insight Investment, where she was head of quant and risk within the equity team.

Carola will oversee RLAM’s range of unitised funds and segregated mandates and will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of the Company’s equity and fixed income funds.

RLAM chief investment officer Robert Talbut says: “Carola’s appointment marks a strong addition to our investment team, ensuring we continue to provide a robust portfolio risk framework across our funds. Her extensive risk management experience will be a great benefit to our fund managers and clients alike.”
