Royal Liver to speed up underwriting process

Online protection provider Royal Liver has implemented phase one of its enhancement programme into its adviser extranet facility.

From today IFAs can benefit from an enhanced underwriting system and the option to amend non-price sensitive data once an application has been submitted.

The move is part of Royal Liver’s plans to give advisers more control over each case they submit.

Royal Liver’s IFA marketing manager Aidan Dewhurst says: “The system improvements and the enhanced usability are designed to give advisers more control and faster turnaround times, which will result in their clients receiving their cover quicker.”

Other changes include electronic commission statements, free format text box for more specific answers and new questions to the underwriting section.

Phase two is expected to take place in August.
