Royal Liver becomes 16th Origo sponsor

Royal Liver has become the 16th provider to sponsor Origo, joining the likes of Aegon, Friends Provident and Standard Life.

The move means Progress by Royal Liver will now help steer Origo’s activities and provide their expertise on identifying and resolving cross-industry issues, focusing specifically on ecommerce in UK financial services.

Royal Liver is currently involved in Origo’s Adviserwise initiative and is also active on Origo’s agency registration service.

Royal Liver head of sales and marketing Mike Farrell says: “Progress from Royal Liver is always looking for new ways to create greater efficiency within the industry. We’re delighted to become a sponsor of Origo as we believe it is an initiative that will save time and money for advisers. We expect this sponsorship to become the basis of an excellent working relationship in the future”.

Origo managing director Paul Pettitt says: “Origo has a busy 2009 ahead with further enhancement of standards, plus developments to agency and options pensions transfer services and we look forward to working closely with Royal Liver and our other sponsors on these projects”.

Sponsors so far also include AXA, Clerical Medical, Fortis, Legal & General, Norwich Union, Prudential, Scottish Life, Scottish Provident, Scottish Widows, Skandia, Unum and Zurich.
