Royal Liver appoints Sprung to lead Park Row

Park Row, A Royal Liver Company, the newly combined sales force effected last month has appointed Peter Sprung as its new chief executive.

Sprung was promoted from head of Park Row Corporate and Private Clients and will also join Royal Liver’s executive team.

Outgoing Park Row chief executive and founder Tim Newman, will stand down, remaining at the firm as a non-executive director.

Sprung’s role is effective immediately and will see him leading the advice force from March 2006, when the transfer is complete. This figure comprises Park Row’s existing 430 IFAs – including around 45 Corporate & Private Clients advisers and Royal Liver’s 160-strong direct salesforce, who will now be able to access a wider product offering through its newly-launched multi-tie, details of which are not yet confirmed.

Sprung says: “I am very excited by my appointment and I’m very much looking forward to the inevitable challenges that lie ahead and to continuing to work to develop the business. We will continue to offer excellent service to our clients and to offer advisers the best career structure and development opportunities in the industry.”
