Rowanmoor picks pension chief to lead product drive

Rowanmoor Pensions has appointed former Capita SIP Services pensions technical marketing and development manager Robert Graves to the newly created role of product development manager.

Graves will be responsible for overseeing the development of the product pipeline and the innovation of new products and services.

He is a committee member of the Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes and heads liaison with HMRC and the Treasury on issues affecting the pension industry.

Graves has more than 25 years experience in pensions covering occupational schemes, executive and small self-administered schemes, per-sonal pensions and Sipps.

He spent seven years at Cap-ita but started his career at the Equity & Law Life Assurance Society as a group pensions administrator.

Rowanmoor Pensions managing director Ian Hammond says: “I am delighted to welcome Robert to our existing team. His experience, expertise and, crucially, his excellent relationship with Amps and HMRC will be a real asset to the company.

“Robert’s appointment underpins our commitment to offering the market a fresh approach to retirement planning and will further enhance Rowanmoor Pensions’ already excellent reputation for innovation in this arena.”
