Rowanmoor boosts sales team

Rowanmoor Pensions has appointed two new consultants to strengthen its sales and consultancy teams based in regional offices across the country.

Rob Green joins the firm as senior sales consultant for the national sales team and will focus on London, Thames Valley and the home counties. Green was previously business development manager at Castlestone Management.

Anthony Harris will move into the role of regulated consultant, responsible for managing and developing relationships for the southern regional team. A chartered financial planner and certified accountant, Harris has spent the past four years as co-director of his own IFA firm.

Managing director Ian Hammond says: “We are delighted to welcome Rob Green and Anthony Harris to Rowanmoor Pensions. Together they bring a proven track record in business development and we can look positively to Rob and Anthony having a strong influence in growing our business as market leader in the provision of self-administered pensions in 2009 and beyond.”

And the spotlight is on Standard Life… Again. This time the firm is being lambasted for guaranteeing annuity quotes on its own pension policies for just one day, compared with an industry average of two weeks.
