RJ Temple in remortgage and equity-release deal

IFA RJ Temple has signed a deal with national broker Mortgageforce to handle enquiries about remortgages and equity-rel- ease products.

Mortgageforce estimates that the deal could generate £50m on the back of RJ Temple&#39s new inheritance tax planning campaign. RJ Temple will continue to use Savills for referrals on standard mortgage business.

But it felt that Mortgageforce, which has equity-release specialists, was the best partner for remortgage and equity-release business. RJ Temple felt Mortgageforce would be better suited to this client base because it does not charge fees.

RJ Temple marketing director Ian Millward says: “Our outsourcing arrangement with Mort-gageforce is a reflection of our belief that mortgages and particularly equity release are specialist areas that demand foc-used advice.”

Mortgageforce managing director Rob Clifford says: “RJ Temple joins a growing band of corporate introducers and there are very few businesses which can deliver national face-to-face mortgage fulfilment, which is our strength.”
