The sales and marketing director, who has worked for the distributor for six years, will now take up a marketing role with an unnamed provider.
Verdin says it was a tough decision to make but one he is ready to embrace.
He says: “The decision to move on has not been an easy one, but I do so with the full support of my colleagues and the owners of DLP. I am now very much looking forward to the new challenges ahead of me”.
DLP managing director Michael Ward says Verdin’s input over the past six years has helped move the firm forward.
He says: “Our business has never been stronger or more successful than it is today and Verdin has played his part in that success.
“We will continue to develop our range of solutions and services with the support of all our insurance providers and distribution partners.”
DLP was bought by Cardif Pinnacle in March this year in a bid to boost the provider’s protection business.
Verdin will leave DLP at the end of September.
