Retirement Partnership’s Lewis joins LV= in distribution role

LV= has appointed The Retirement Partnership founder and managing director Steve Lewis as head of distribution for its retirement solutions business.

Lewis will step down as managing director of The Retirement Partnership, but will become chairman of the support services firm.

He will be replaced by Annuity Clearing House chairman Peter Quinton, who has been appointed acting managing director.

Lewis will join LV= in November and will report to managing director of retirement solutions John Perks. He will have responsibility for the sale of the retirement solutions products.

Lewis joins former Partnership head of retirement products Philip Brown at LV= who joined the provider as head of retirement propositions in August.

Lewis says: “The Retirement Partnership has achieved a great deal in the last three years, helping to increase understanding of the full range of options available to the modern retiree. Peter will take that work forward, working with Billy Burrows and our other colleagues and associates, building new relationships and moving the business into new areas where guidance, information and intelligent strategies are all required. The opportunity at LV= is tremendous. This is a provider on the move, and I am very excited to be part of its future growth.”
