Reeves picks investment chief to push fund range

Reeves Investment Management has appointed Mike Sargeant as investment director, with responsibility for developing its range of investment strategies.

He will also be a member of the senior management team responsible for the asset allocation and fund selection of discretionary portfolios.

Reeves has £70m of assets invested across its income, balanced and growth products.

Before joining Reeves, Sargeant was managing director of Pharon IFA for six years and was also managing director of its associated company Lawrence House Fund Managers. He has worked in the retail banking, investment banking and building society sectors.

Sargeant says: “In addition to managing money, RIM will also be looking at how changes to regulation is having an impact on the way that discretionary investment management services are provided to investors and how we can work with other firms.”
