Recession fears affect investor product choice

Fears of global recession and the threat of international terrorism are changing the profile of clients&#39 product purchases, according to network IN-Partnership.

The network says that clients are taking a &#39safety first&#39 approach, placing more emphasis on secure bonds, investment funds with guarantees and protection insurance.

On-Line Partnership, which trades as IN-Partnership Group, chief executive Kevin McDonagh says: “People have been deeply shaken by recent events and all our research shows the effects of September 11 will be felt for sometime “
