Rathbones investment management head to step down

Rathbones head of investment management Richard Lanyon is to step down.

After 10 years in the role, Lanyon has decided to step down from his managerial responsibilities as head of investment management during the course of 2012 and from the board at the same time. He will continue as investment director managing his clients’ portfolios.

Chief operating officer Paul Chavasse will take on the role of head of investment management at that time. A process is now underway to recruit a new chief operating officer.
