QC warns of breaches in human rights on FSM bill

The regulatory reform act to create the Financial Services Authority could breach human rights, according to a leading QC.


Anthony Speaight&#39s paper &#34A Failure To Comply&#34 will be sent to all MPs by the group Justice In Financial Services.


Its president Glyn Owen, former director of Morgan Grenfell Asset Management, has urged MPs to insist the proposals are amended. He wants them to comply with the European Convention on Human Rights.
