PTFS chief exec Doug Crawford to join conveyancer

Personal Touch chief executive Doug Crawford is to join the conveyancer firm My Home Move as its new chief executive.

Crawford (pictured) will join the firm in April and will replace outgoing MHM chief executive Ian Floyed.

PTFS announced Crawford was to leave the network last week. His replacement is PTFS non-executive director Max Wright, who the network says will be in charge for the “foreseeable future”.

Crawford joined PTFS in March 2010 after joining from Absolute Invoice Finance, which is part of Aldermore Bank, where he was chief executive.

My Home Move was established in 2000 and provides conveyancing and panel management services.

Come back Doug – we miss you, and all of your good work last year will be wasted with Max at the healm. You placed PT in an excellent position when you left with positive adviser growth and a strong sence of community. Max is rapidly destroying any community spitit that was ever there. He will be the demise of the network which is such a shame. Good luck in your new role, you thoroughly deserve it
