PTFS becomes Apfa member

Advisor network Personal Touch Financial Services has joined Apfa, taking a seat on the trade body’s policy consultation group.

PTFS senior wealth manager Simon Hewitt says: “It’s an exciting time for our wealth advisers and Apfa plays an important role supporting the profession and championing advisers’ interests – we’re pleased to be a part of that.”

Apfa director general Chris Hannant adds: “We are delighted to have Personal Touch joining us as a member.

“They do so at an interesting time for the profession, with financial advisers adapting to changes on a number of fronts – not least the pension freedoms almost upon us. Alongside regulatory demands and the prospect of a change of government in May, it’s more important than ever for professional financial advice to speak with one voice.”
