Prudential in discussions over Egg

Prudential is in discussions over a possible transaction with respect
to Egg, in the light of Egg&#39s share price movement today.

Prudential says that such discussions are at a preliminary stage and
there is no certainty that any agreement will be reached.

Prudential currently holds 79 per cent of Egg.
