Prudential Financial Planning will launch an adviser training programme aimed at people who have not previously worked in financial services.
Prudential says the programme is “underpinned by a six-figure investment” and will see candidates become fully fledged advisers within 18 months.
Four entrants to the programme will undertake a 12-month intensive training programme in Prudential’s Stirling office before sitting their level four Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Prudential financial planning and strategy director Peter Coleman says: “Trying to break into the advice industry without previous experience has been difficult until now, but this is an ambitious programme that will give talented individuals a great opportunity and a career for life.”
Coleman says offering a recruitment programme is part of the firm’s plans to expand its adviser numbers and service offers.
