Xplan, which also offers advice tools, business management software and compliance alerts, will be rolled out to around 300 Prudential Financial Planning advisers.

Iress acquired Avelo last year for £210m. The deal was investigated by the Competition Commission and given the go-ahead earlier this month.
The Xplan software was not part of the of the Avelo business acquired by Iress, which includes brands such as Trigold and Adviser Office.
