Pru forced to change Egg advertising

Prudential is being forced to change the advertising on its Egg savings account after the Advertising Standards Authority upheld a complaint from Standard Life that the account was misleading.

The ASA issued an informal request for Pru to include a disclaimer that it can take 3 days to withdraw money. Pru is considering its response.

The ASA is still looking into a complaint about a 60-day clause which allows Pru to change the terms of the account without warning customers.
