Pru aids IFAs with revamped website

Prudential has revamped its IFA website to include its annuities and allow Prudence bond business to be transacted online.

The IFA site, www.pru ifa.co.uk, has been fully upgra-ded and redesigned to help registered IFAs write business electronically faster and easier.

Before the revamp, the website had more than 10,000 registered IFA users and generated £100m of online transactions since its launch 16 months ago.

The new web services inc-lude valuations, illustrations, applications and e-payments for all Pru bond business. Bonds can be bought signature-free with the site&#39s online payment facility.

IFAs will also be able to amend existing bank details, payments and fund allocation for existing Pru bond customers.

An additional allocation of £100 will be added to new and top-up Pru bond business totalling £10,000 or more until December 31 on all applications submitted online.

Pru annuities feature on the site for the first time. It now provides IFAs with information and product support material for Pru&#39s range of retirement income products such as its with-profits annuity and its new flexible lifetime annuity.

The site now has dropdown navigation tools, improved page layout and one-click access to online services. The site also provides IFAs with news and a library of literature and fund information.

IFA e-business manager Jon Cross says: “The new des-ign and improved functionality of the site reinforces our commitment to advisers by making it as quick and conv-enient as possible for them to manage clients&#39 existing accounts and transact new business online.”
