Property gains traction in November, says Cofunds

The property sector was the fourth highest selling sector in November, according to the latest sales figures from Cofunds.

Property accounted for five funds inside the top 50 and three inside the top 20 last month. Aviva Investors property trust ranked 13th, M&G property portfolio A fund 18th and Swip property trust 20th.

Outflows for the sector also slowed, lifting the sector three places and securing it 7 per cent of net sales

The cautious managed sector continued to rank first taking close to a quarter of net sales with corporate bonds coming second.

Global emerging markets and Asia Pacific sectors both continued to grow throughout the month.
