ProAct close to hitting target of 100 members

Pseudo-network ProAct has recruited 75 registered individuals in seven months andis on course to hit the 100 mark within a month.

The target will be achieved as soon as ProAct has integrated two dozen RIs it has poached from a national IFA.

ProAct founder and Armstrong Neal partner Gareth Fatchett says the figure of 100 RIs should coincide with the launch of ProAct&#39s website which is designed to act as a portal between lawyers and IFAs.

Birmingham-based ProAct was set up to bring IFAs, accountants and lawyers under one banner and increase professionalism in the industry. IFA members are requiredto achieve AFPC to join.

The 75 RIs on board have come from directly authorised IFAs and a small number of network members.

The new website is not exclusive to ProAct IFAs and will feature up to 100 RIs in addition to the ProAct membership. Features include the facility to calculate pension sharing after divorce and the value of traded endowments.

Fatchett says: “The watchwords are quality, quality, quality. We are interested in top-level IFAs.”
