Principality Building Society – BTL 2-Year Tracker Low Rate

Type: Buy-to-let tracker mortgage

Tracker term: Until November 30, 2012

Tracker rate: 3.24% above the Bank of England base rate

Payable rate: 3.74%

Minimum loan: £25,001

Maximum loan: Up to 60% of valuation subject to a maximum of £250,000

Income multiples: Rental income must be at least 125% of the mortgage repayments calculated at the higher of the pay rate or the Society’s Standard Variable rate

Conditions: Available for properties in England and Wales, available direct and through intermediaries, up to 10 properties allowed within a maximum total of £1m

Arrangement fee: 3.5% of the original loan

Redemption fee: 4% of the amount repaid in the first two years plus £150 discharge fee if mortgage is repaid in full

Food cost rises keep CPI at 3.1%
