Price looking for female advisers in UK expansion

IFA business Fiona Price & Partners, which focuses on advising women, is aiming to break out of its London stronghold and expand its offering nationwide.

The firm, which currently has an all-woman team of 12 RIs, is planning to take on 30 female IFAs across the country in the next two years to work under its brand.

The firm is looking for existing IFAs who are already focused on the female market and it is targeting Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Southampton and Exeter.

Fiona Price & Partners has 10 new advisers in the pipeline and believes its branding, marketing and technical support will appeal to women IFAs who want to target the female advice market.

The firm is also planning to offer a menu of specialist services in the summer offering marketing, training and technical support for advisers focusing on giving advice to women. It also says it is looking at acquiring other firms.

Managing director Fiona Price says: “There are 1,200 woman IFAs out there and we feel our brand will appeal to them. For years, we have been asked when we will be opening outside London. In addition to our strong brand, we have excellent systems and a style and culture of our own. We expect to use these assets and develop quickly.”
